After taking some months of break since they launched the Race Eagle (which is still doing very fine in market), Infinix has just stormed the market with two new Android smart phones — the Diamond and the Race Max Q.
Here, we’ll be discussing the features and specs of the Race Max Q. (We have already reviewed the Infinix Diamond in this post.)
The Infinix Race Max Q passes for both a phone and a small tablet (and that’s why we called it a phablet). It comes with a 5.3″ display, which makes it a great choice for die-hard gaming addicts and those who love watching their videos large and real. The display takes up almost all of the device’s front surface, leaving just very little space for the speaker and front camera above, and the control buttons below.
The Race Max Q runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), and comes packed with a powerful 1.2 GHz quad core processor. So, users need not hesitate before downloading apps and games of huge sizes — the device will run them without any lags.
The device has 4GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM. Of course, you can expand the internal memory to up to 32GB using a micro SD card (that’s if the included 8GB card won’t do for you).
The Race Max Q flaunts two cameras: an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. So whether you want to take pictures of your own face or that of other people or objects in front of you, you can easily switch to the appropriate camera for convenience.
With the phone’s WiFi hotspot feature, you can connect your PC to the internet without making any obvious connections. And the device comes with the latest version of the Bluetooth technology (4.0).
Because it is expected that the device would sap battery energy fast due to its display size, the included 2100 mAh battery is powerful enough to sustain the its operation for long hours. So, users won’t complain of too short battery life.
