Infinix Big 6 (Note 2) is a big phone in the real sense of the word and it comes with all the advantages of being a big phone. To fully utilize its size, the phone is packed with hardware and software features capable of high-level performance.  Infinix Note 2 has, as part of its attractions, “X Contacts”, a service from Infinix Mobility that provides a back up of users’ contacts to the cloud.


Big is still the word in the design of Infinix Note 2.  The phone is however blended with curves that put a premium touch to its design and a comfortable hold in the hand.  Its dimensions are 159.5 mm x 82.5 mm x 9.3 mm with a weight of 194g.

At a size of 6 inches, the Infinix Big 6 (Note 2) spots a screen that can be described as huge for a smartphone.  So the phone crosses into the phablet range and the screen is apt for viewing movies and games.

The screen is bezel-free, multitouch, IPS capacititive and, for a brilliant view, has a resolution of 1080 x 1280 pixels with 16 M colours.

OS, Processor and Memory

Infinix Big 6 (Note 2) runs the latest Android, Lollipop 5.1, customized with Infinix Mobility User Interface, the XUI.  While the Android OS provides access to millions of apps from the Android store, the XUI enhances efficiency by ensuring improved responsiveness and battery life and by making more apps like the Contact Cloud Backup available.

Central Processing Unit for the Infinix Note 2 is 64-bit octa-core MT6753 MediaTek with a speed of 1.4 GHz. The phone is equipped with a superb graphics processor in the ARM Mali-T720 GPU.

For RAM, the Infinix Note 2 comes in two versions of 1GB and 2GB.  Internal memory is 16GB, expandable by 32 GB MicroSD.


The main camera for the Infinix Note 2 is 13 MP while the secondary camera is 2 MP.  With f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, Autofocus, Geo-tagging, HDR, Panorama, the cameras are equipped to deliver very fine pictures.


A 4000 mAh Li Ion battery, a fast charging mode and an ultra saver mode combine to offer Infinix Big 6 the power it requires for the tasking and extended operations expected of a phone in its class.  Standby is up to 300 hours, talk time is 21 hours, while video and music are up to 8 and 40 hours respectively.
